Disney "closing" deal to buy 21 Century Fox.
According to CNBC Disney is real close to gaining control of all film and TV assets from 2oth Century Fox. A 60 billion dollar deal that would bring Avatar and Marvel franchises over to Disney. Expect to hear more news of the deal early next week! It's a nerd dream come true!

Retro-Bit, a company who specializes in recreating old school gaming consoles plans to tackle two popular SEGA consoles! The company in the near future will produce a Saturn 7 Dreamcast style system! So that means all of your classic light gun shooters, fighters and much more!

Shenmue 3 Delayed Until 2019!
Looks like we won’t be getting Shenmue III until 2019 the creator Yu Suzuki had this to say "To all of our backers, we are very sorry for the delay. After much discussion with our partners, Deep Silver, we have concluded that extending the release will allow us to deliver Shenmue III at its best. We promise to use this time to improve the quality of Shenmue III." This is the second title this week Deep Silver has delayed the first being Metro Exodus. If this delay means Shenmue 3 stays in the oven longer and cooks to perfection, I’m all for it! Click Image to see official announcement.

House of The Dead Returns!
House of The Dead Scarlet dawn is the new installment to the beloved arcade Shooter. Sega is set to debut the game as a test in Tokyo Japan January 19-21 at their Akihabara Building 3. Rumored New Pokemon Title for Switch!
It looks like we may have our first look at the new Pokémon game for the Switch! The game being named Pokémon let’s go Eevee and let’s go Pikachu, is rumored to be a remake of the beloved Yellow iteration of the series. Only this time you can start with an Eevee or Pikachu! I for one am super excited for this because one it’s a new Pokémon game, two it’s on the switch! And three if this rumor is indeed true is a complete call back to the show! We will certainly see next month at E3!

Joaquin Pheonix finalizes deal with WB to play the Joker!
Joaquin Phoenix has finalized a deal for the role of the iconic Batman villain the Joker! The origin movie is to be directed by Todd Phillips and budget for the film is 55 million dollars. No set release date as of yet.
